Natural gas is a combustible, naturally occurring gas mixture that occurs in underground deposits.
It consists of over 90 percent methane, a colorless and odorless natural gas and the simplest hydrocarbon found in nature.
Our engines run on natural gas as standard.
Biogas is a combustible gas produced by fermentation of biomass of any kind.
This degradation process is technically used in biogas plants to produce biogas from liquid manure, biowaste or energy pflanzen.
Our engines run excellently on biogas and are therefore perfectly suited for the biogas plants.
Hydrogen is a chemical element, i.e. a specific chemical substance.
It is an uncomplicated and combustible gas. Hydrogen is abbreviated with the chemical symbol H: This stands for hydrogenium.
Through much testing and research, we have succeeded in making our engines hydrogen-ready.
In WJ POWER – HMG gas engines it is already possible to add a proportion of approx. 20% hydrogen.
Wood gas is a combustible gas that can be obtained from wood; it is produced in wood gasifiers.
Wood gas consists of combustible components, mainly carbon monoxide 34% and methane 13%, and smaller proportions of ethylene 2%, hydrogen 2% and resin terpenes, as well as non-combustible components such as nitrogen 1%, carbon dioxide 48% and water vapor.
We have many satisfied partners and customers who use wood gas to run their HMG gas engine. Wood gas is a good choice for this purpose.
